Mel Ware brings over 27 years of experience in early childhood education to her role as Centre Director at Little Angels St Luke's Ekibin - Tarragindi. Her career began in a support role working with children with additional needs—a role that sparked a lifelong passion for nurturing young learners. Mel has held a variety of positions across the sector, but her greatest joy comes from seeing the pride and excitement on a child’s face as they achieve something new.

Mel believes children are capable, confident learners who thrive when given the opportunity to explore and make their own choices. She is a strong advocate for promoting children’s agency, independence and voice. Under Mel’s leadership, the team at St Luke's Ekibin provides a warm, welcoming and engaging environment where children feel safe to wonder, discover and grow. Mel is passionate about building strong relationships with families and fostering a genuine sense of belonging for every child.
